Position Overview

Title: RFQ: Knowledge & Insights Consultant, Women’s Financial Inclusion, Southeast Asia
Classification: RFP
Location and Duration: Remote, will ability to work during Southeast Asia business hours.
Duration of Consultancy: August 2024 to July 2025 with possibility of extension based on mutual agreement.

Position Summary

Women's World Banking's Southeast Asia team is seeking a consultant to prepare data driven insights and reports for specific projects and initiatives, the overall program across our countries of operation – Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia, and the broader financial inclusion sector in these countries for WWB’s funders and key partners. These insights will support in-country program and partners to enhance their practical knowledge, improve programmatic outcomes, and complement WWB's strong indicator tracking to provide evidence of impact.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Gather industry and customer trends in Women’s World Banking’s core markets of interest in Southeast Asia – Indonesia, Cambodia and Vietnam
  • Support the development of effective theories of change and outcome monitoring frameworks for projects and initiatives
  • Analyse and synthesize findings from data generated through multiple sources including secondary market information, WWB’s own reports, and interviews with colleagues and relevant stakeholders to develop tailored knowledge products for different stakeholders. These could include insights reports, briefs. presentations and case studies that complement our strong quantitative indicator tracking to provide evidence of our impact
  • Document good practices and lessons learned during project execution including achievements, challenges, strategies and approaches

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in monitoring, evaluation and knowledge/ learning management in international development
  • Prior experience in financial inclusion strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to draft technical knowledge/insights reports in English
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote working environment.
