Position Overview

Title: RFQ: Executive Writer
Classification: RFP
Location and Duration: Remote
Duration of Consultancy: Individuals selected will be put on a retainer contract for at least 1 year and engaged on projects, based on needs and expertise, that span over 6-16 months.

Position Summary

Women’s World Banking is seeking an Executive Writer to support in drafting long-form content, speeches, and thought leadership pieces. This writer will collaborate closely with the Brand, Marketing, & Communications team to translate our work into compelling narratives that resonate with various audiences.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Draft long-form content, including speeches, op-eds, articles, and thought leadership pieces, tailored for Leadership’s voice and audience.
  • Understand Women’s World Banking’s positioning in the global financial inclusion landscape and craft content that aligns with our mission.
  • Develop clear, engaging, and persuasive content for diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, private sector leaders, and donors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of writing experience, ideally as a journalist or executive speechwriter.
  • Experience in finance, gender issues, financial inclusion, or business writing preferred.
  • Ability to transform reports, data, and insights into compelling narratives, working closely with subject matter experts for accuracy and clarity.
