Chief Product Development Officer Anna Gincherman is a panelist at the 12th Annual AFMIN Conference and General Assembly on October 15-18, 2013. This year’s theme is “Inclusive Finance for Inclusive Growth and Transformation in Africa” at the Africa Union Conference Center, Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia.
The overall objective of the conference is to bring together microfinance stakeholders including microfinance practitioners, policy makers and development partners to discuss the future expansion of inclusive finance in Africa with policy makers, practitioners, donors, networks, technical service providers and other development partners.
The specific focus of this conference includes:
- Inclusive growth and transformation in Africa
- Inclusive finance
- Medium and Small Enterprise financing
- Child and Youth financing
- Financial literacy
- Agriculture financing
- Financial access to women and disadvantaged groups
- Social performance management etc.
Anna will be participating on the session entitled “Financial access to women and disadvantaged groups”. This session will be held on October 16, 2013 from 14:30 to 16:00. and Women’s World Banking Board Chair Dr. Jennifer Riria was also invited as a speaker.
