Floods that hit Bosnia and Herzegovina last week inflicted enormous material damage to citizens. The real damage will not be known for a long time.
According to unofficial information, 42% of population, in flooded areas, has been directly affected, mostly by losing homes, with bare walls as only things they still have left with. Almost 100.000 residential buildings have been damaged, and over 300 health care institutions and school buildings.
MI-BOSPO launched emergency actions to assist its clients and employees. We have been collecting information on how many clients have lost their homes and property, in order for us to try to find ways to assist them.
We are visiting our clients and delivering hygiene packages. We will donate 1.430 packages, and additional 100 packages containing baby diapers.
