Sarah Buitoni, Senior Associate at Women’s World Banking’s Center for Microfinance Leadership will be speaking at the Microfinance Club of New York’s event “Client Centric Approaches to Microfinance Product Design.”
Event description:
The value of the microfinance products we create and in which we invest hinges on our understanding of the needs and incentives of microfinance clients and the local institutions who serve them. Understanding clients’ needs is not always intuitive, needs can be influenced by cultural and environmental factors that are difficult for outsiders to understand. Our speakers, who both have extensive field experience, will discuss how interactions with clients and organizations in the field has helped them modify and tailor products to the needs of microfinance clients.
