In a conversation moderated by Rachel Field, Director of Women’s World Banking’s Leadership and Diversity programs, panelists Angela Sun (Head of Strategy and Corporate Development, Bloomberg LP and member of the Women’s World Banking Board of Trustees) and Kathryn Burdett (Vice President, Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Americas, Deutsche Bank AG) discussed some of the issues raised by the launch of the Bloomberg Financial Services Gender-Equality Index. They explored questions such as: Why are women getting “stuck?” What are some innovative things institutions are doing to get to parity at the top? What do we do about inherent bias? How do we better link women at the top to serving women clients better?
This webinar is presented as part of Women’s World Banking’s celebration of more than ten years of strengthening leadership and diversity in financial institutions serving low-income women. We know that diverse teams have better outcomes and we have spent the past decade helping institutions build diverse leadership teams with the tools to navigate growth and change in their institutions while meeting the needs of low-income women.
