Elena Szajewski
Bio
Elena Szajewski is the first Director of Individual Giving and Partnerships at Women’s World Banking, charged with leading the organization’s strategy and efforts to build philanthropic support from individual donors.
Prior to joining Women’s World Banking, she was most recently the Director of Development and Individual Giving at Trickle Up, where she refined their development systems and significantly grew individual support. Her experience also includes fundraising and research in Ghana and Kenya where she supported organizations focused on poverty alleviation, financial inclusion for women micro-entrepreneurs, and solar asset financing.
She holds a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Boston College.
