Bio

Kristina serves as Women’s World Banking’s General Counsel, overseeing legal and governance matters across the organization’s operations.

Kristina is an attorney with over 15 years of in-house and law firm experience spanning a diverse range of sectors and geographies, including nonprofits and social enterprises, development finance institutions, corporations, and asset managers.

Prior to joining Women’s World Banking, Kristina served as Assistant General Counsel at Kiva, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding financial access to help underserved communities thrive. Before Kiva, Kristina was a Partner in the Corporate & Securities group of the law firm Womble Bond Dickinson, where she served as co-head of the International Development Finance team. Before Womble Bond Dickinson, Kristina was an associate in the Private Investment Funds groups of the law firms Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and Sidley Austin in New York, New York and the Capital Markets group of Sidley Austin in Sydney, Australia.

Kristina holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in Comparative Literature from Princeton University and a J.D., with honors, from Columbia University School of Law.
