Global Policy Advocacy Specialist

Bio

Victoria Johnson is the Global Policy Advocacy Specialist, where she supports policy and advocacy efforts to advance women’s financial inclusion and economic empowerment.

Prior to joining Women’s World Banking, she briefly supported USAID’s Digital Financial Services team which provided policy and programmatic support to US Missions. She also worked overseas with Catholic Relief Services to implement development and humanitarian programming in Cameroon, Chad, Central African Republic, and the occupied Palestinian territories as well as provided remote support to Central Asia and the Middle East. Victoria has also held consulting positions at the World Bank and Women’s World Banking. She completed a Fulbright Scholarship in South Africa.

Victoria earned her M.A. in Development Economics and Human Security at Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy and her B.A. in English and history from William & Mary.
